Accessibility

We want Setsquare to be usable by as many people as possible, and aim for conformance with WCAG 2.1 level AA. This is an honest statement of where we are, not a certification.

What works well

• Keyboard. The utilities and forms are fully keyboard-operable, with visible focus rings. The mind-map and org-chart builders are keyboard-first: Tab adds a child, Enter a sibling, F2 renames, Delete removes, and the arrow keys move the selection. Undo is Ctrl/Cmd+Z throughout.
• Colour & theme. Light and dark themes; UI text is chosen for AA contrast on its background.
• Motion. There is no autoplaying motion or flashing content.
• Zoom & reflow. Layouts reflow down to a phone width without horizontal scrolling of the page.
• Labels. Icon-only buttons carry accessible names; form fields are labelled.

Known limitations

• The diagram canvases are inherently visual. They are drawn as SVG with a labelled region, but a complex diagram is not fully conveyed to a screen reader today. Every diagram can be edited through the side panels (which are labelled and keyboard-operable) as well as by pointer, and exported as SVG/PNG/PDF.
• Fine pointer gestures (dragging a node, resizing a box) currently need a pointer; equivalent add/edit/delete actions are available via the panels and keyboard.
